These Nike Romaleos 3's were originally requested by an Arkansas State Trooper. We discussed several aspects of the design during the creative process, such as having the shoe resemble the squad car this customer drives and the Trooper badge on the outside. After establishing the blue line that travels back in a "V" over the shoe, as it does over the hood of the squad car, the customer wanted the car's number on the back of the shoes. We agreed upon adding "TROOPER" on the back of the shoe, the customer wanted it in a "non-generic" form. The artist interpreted this request splendidly and wrote it in an old-western style which compliments the entire theme!
