I went over to the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells California. And when I got there, I quickly learned why they call this Tennis Garden "Tennis Paradise."
Palm Trees, warm weather and tennis courts. This was my first time to a professional tennis tournament and I was excited to see what all the hype was about. The first thing you'll notice at this tournament is the energy. I think there is like 30 tennis courts there, but 2 or 3 that are big stadium style courts where the pros complete on national TV. People were rushing around from 1 court to the other trying to catch their favorite player's tennis match.
FILA brought me on to customize some of their sneakers and apparel. If you know me and have been following my story, you know LIVE painting events is in my DNA. Spending all day in the Shoedio can get lonely, so getting out and meeting people is always a nice change of pace.
After Day 1, FILA put me up in the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort and Spa, and I blown away at how nice it was.
After another full day of working with FILA Tennis, I took a moment to checkout some of the matches under the stadium lights and unwind.
Thanks again to the team at FILA for having me out to the tournament, see you there next year.
