Shoes. Art. Beer. Basketball! All the things you need for the perfect NBA All Star Weekend party hosted by Budweiser and presented by Operation Gratitude. This year Los Angeles had the privilege of hosting the NBA Players weekend where the best NBA athletes from around the nation come together for this one weekend.
Budweiser threw their first BudweiserLIVE event for All Star Weekend and invited the BStreet Team to join the event and create some awesome wearable works of art! Our artists not only customized shoes at the event, but also hand painted denim jackets live for the weekend's party goers! It was an awesome party hosted by MC Young Wayne with special guests LaMarcus Aldridge, "Swaggy P" Nick Young, and T-Pain were a few of the names there checking out the custom sneakers.
Not only did we paint sneakers, but Budweiser gave our very own Blake Barash the opportunity to paint a basketball backboard to showcase at the party. Blake was honored to show his work along with 5 other LA street artists. His painted basketball hoop features a pair of Budweiser high-top sneakers as if they were dangling off the top of the backboard with a black, red, and white color scheme.
Adidas also had a huge party with some big name performers including Kid Cudi and Kanye.
What a crazy month! February was packed with some amazing events and opportunities for the BStreet Team. We will be sad to see it go.
