Custom B STREET Retro Jordans

One of the best parts of being a sneaker artist is you get to make yourself whatever shoes you want. The parameters I always give myself is, I need to use a new technique. Because then it becomes R&D. And technically a business expense.

For this pair of custom Jordans I wanted to give it an aged retro look so I took out the Fox Trot Dye Pen. I ironed the toe to give it that Michael Jordan rookie year look.

The hue at the end was a little too yellow for me, so I added a layer of paint, the BSTREET logo of course, and some clear coat. For the clear coat I used two different sheens to compare how they hold up over time. In the end this is how they turned out. Drop a comment let me know what you think. Looking for some custom kicks?
