Have you ever seen custom painted cowboy boots?
We recently customized some cowboy boots starting with an all white base. We went for a unique paisley pattern that actually changes from the bottom of the shoe to the top. We made two different versions of the boot. The first one with a blue and white color way seen below, and a silver/blue/white color way seen at the bottom of this blog post. Which one is your favorite?
The technique we used when painting this was a combination of airbrush paint paint brush. For the white/blue combo, we masked off everywhere what was to remain white with masking tape and vinyl. We used a Silhouette Cameo to cut the paisley vinyl to preserve the white. We also cut out the black lettering.
For the silver edition, we hand painted in the silver in with a paint brush using silver Angelus paint.
