Last month I had the opportunity to paint some custom shoes for singer songwriter electropop artist Halsey. The shoes were made in commemoration of her Badlands tour. Badlands is her Debut studio album which released August 28, 2015 and has been on fire this last year. She's had appearances on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and Last Call With Carson Daly.
When making these shoes I had the artistic freedom to do what I wanted. Her people told me to do what I thought she would like. Although I've never met her, looking at her Insty account I could tell she is a sneaker head who likes the color Rose Gold. How did you get the lighter color rose gold for the floral accents? Did you just mix a bit of white into the rose gold paint or was there a special method done?
