!!Calling all the Iron Man and Deadpool fans!!
We recently were given the opportunity to create an awesome pair of Reebok's with the amazing Iron Man and Deadpool! These were a challenging pair to paint, as the shoe itself did not have a solid canvas to paint on, the shoe comes with a thing mesh. To create the perfect canvas to paint on, we heat pressed a denim patch to the inside of the shoe, to cover all the holes in the mesh. With the canvas now paint ready, we got to work with the paint.
On the outside of one shoe is an incredibly detailed portrait of Ironman, in the background of Iron Man we painted a bright blue glow. On the outside of the other shoe we painted the detailed portrait of Deadpool. This portrait has a background of a red and white glow, with red paint splatter on the shoe as well.
These shoes are so incredibly unique, and the challenge of creating the perfect base to paint on made the end result so much more rewarding. I hope you guys love these just as much as we loved painting them!
