Basquiat is one of these artists that even if you don't know who he is, you've seen the work. His style has influenced countless artists. Born in Brooklyn in 1960, he became super famous artist by 1980. And after his death in 1988, his paintings were selling for millions. He set a record with a painting going for 110 million in 2017. Recently I made a pair of custom Jordans inspired by some of my favorite Basquiat paintings. This was a fun pair to do, because it paid homage to one of my favorite artists. Here's how the shoes turned out and let me know if you would rock these.
