This was a total transformation. I worked with a guy named Dominic Fury on a custom design he wanted inspired by his passion for fishing. He’s an avid angler and we thought it would be cool do transform the entire shoe into a design based on a Rainbow Trout.
We used Jacquard metallic paints to reflect light similar to how fish scales would. The Nike Air heel panel became the trout’s tail, and we saved the Nike Swoosh for the pink area running up the side of the fish. We also finished off the shoes with a fishing hook on the tongue tag and this is how they turned out. ⬇️
