Do you remember that great family vacation or the unforgettable weekend getaway with your friends? This customer wanted to remember his fond memories on the East Coast at the Montauket Beach Resort everywhere he goes with this very special custom pair we created for him this month in the shop.
On the right shoe, images of the beach with the sweeping waves, a lively lighthouse searching for those lost at sea, a lifesaver, and the phrase "Todd's Timeout" are all inspired by the abstract chalkboard fashion on the outer side of the shoe. For the Left shoe, the top and outer side are decorated with the name "Montauket" as if it were written in sand next to a crab decorated with the letters MTK and a sign representing "27 East." Going up the tongue of the left shoe is a brightly colored surfboard and the inner side has a sign pointing towards Camp Costello! On the inner sides of both shoes, a soft sunset with silhouette of flocking seagulls ties in both shoes together for this beautiful beach scene.
These shoes took many hard working hours to customize and perfect but it was all worth it in order to capture the essence of this client's most memorable and favorite vacation spot.
