Van Halen's Iconic Frankenstrat Guitar Inspired Vans

Van Halen Frankenstrat Guitar Vans Authentic Red

This original red pair of Authentic Vans have been hand painted with black and white stripes to honor the iconic design of Eddie Van Halen's guitar used in multiple performances throughout his career.

The hard rock and heavy metal band first begun in 1972 and originated in Pasadena, California.  From the bands first successful album of 1984 to the 2012 release of A Different Kind of Truth, Van Halen has sold 56 million albums in the US and more than 80 million records work wide.  Though the music group has gone through multiple band members over the years, Van Halen has stayed resilient through it all gaining the honor of being admitted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.

Band member Eddie Van Halen repainted his guitar red in 1979. The historic Frankenstrat Guitar had intentionally left stripes unpainted in order to reveal the original black and white paint underneath.

"There are really three parts to the creative process. First there is inspiration, then there is execution, and finally there is release." - Eddie Van Halen
