News / Custom Jordans
These are custom Super Mario and Luigi themed Jordan 1 Retro High OG's with Mario and Luigi riding in their Mario Cart style vehicles. They are painted red and green for their respective characters, popping out against the black leather of the Jordan 1's. The checkered racing flag on the Nike swoosh is similar to the finish line crossed by all the racers in the game. They were awesome to paint and given to Bryson Tiller as a gift from his manager.
Last week I collaborated with a Call of Duty fan to make paint him some custom Jordans that looked like his favorite camo from the game Black Ops 3. I personally haven't played Call Of Duty in a long time, so I had to Google Image search what 'Dark Matter Camo' even is. Once I saw these guns, I was in love. There is a constant movement to the colors and a perfect balance between black and light colors. Although this Dark Matter Camo won't really keep you hidden, it has landed it's self as one of my favorite Camoflauge pattern's out there. Checkout this video below to watch me paint these from start to finish:

The re release of the black/black AJ1s is a sneaker artist's dream canvas. Clean lines, clean leather, perfect to be painted! This client wanted me to take the direction with this project, and I had something in mind for these. Of course first comes shoe prep with rubber gloves, Acetone, cotton balls and tape. If you want to learn more about that check out my in depth blog post HERE. First I layered a few coats of different shades of green Jacquard paint. Then came a few layers of metallic gold and copper.
Next I hand cut each leaf of the masking tape and added some more coats of color. The next two pictures below are a screen grab from my Snapchat.
Tape comes off! Then a few coats of protection with the acrylic finisher and done!
Done and trying not to get attached>>>

Last week I knocked out a pair of custom Jordans for Katt Williams. The agreed design was to be weed theme without any weed leafs. I decided to paint a pattern using golds and greens. The heels say Conspiracy Theory and CFE Arena to commemorate his 2/19/2016 show and Conspiracy Theory tour. Check out the pics below of the process.
